Residential Laundry Service – Terms & Conditions

1. Service Description

We provide a residential laundry service which may include collection, washing, tumble drying, folding, and ironing, depending on customer request.

2. Pricing

  • The standard charge for washing, drying, and folding is £25 per 10kg load.

  • Loads exceeding 10kg may be charged as an additional load at the same rate.

  • Ironing is charged separately and is priced based on the volume and type of items.

  • The ironing price will be confirmed with the customer before ironing is carried out.

3. Payment

  • Payment is due in cash on delivery of the completed laundry.

  • We reserve the right to withhold delivery until payment is received in full.

4. Laundry Care & Customer Responsibility

  • Customers must not include delicate items, garments requiring specialist care, or items not suitable for tumble drying unless specifically agreed in advance.

  • This includes (but is not limited to): silk, wool, cashmere, lace, embellished garments, or items labelled “hand wash only” or “do not tumble dry”.

  • Any such items included are processed entirely at the customer’s own risk.

5. Ironing Responsibility

  • Items presented for ironing must be suitable for standard domestic ironing.

  • We are not responsible for damage caused by incorrect care labels, heat sensitivity, or pre-existing wear or damage.

6. Liability

  • We take reasonable care when handling laundry; however, we are not responsible for damage, shrinkage, colour bleeding, or wear caused by normal washing, tumble drying, or ironing.

  • Liability does not extend to issues arising from incorrect care instructions or unsuitable items.

7. Items Left in Pockets

  • Customers are responsible for ensuring all pockets are empty.

  • We are not liable for loss of personal items or damage caused by items left in pockets.

8. Lost or Damaged Items

  • Any issues must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.

  • Where liability applies, it is limited to the reasonable replacement value of the item, excluding sentimental value.

9. Refusal of Service

  • We reserve the right to refuse or return laundry that is excessively soiled, contaminated, or presents a health or safety risk.

10. Acceptance of Terms

  • By using our service, customers confirm they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
